Open Science Ambassadors – Recap, Follow-up, Spotlight

Recap:

Open Science Ambassadors Meeting 2024 – Materials now available!

We’re looking back on our successful Open Science Ambassadors meeting, held on November 6-7 in Berlin. Thank you to all attendees for their active participation, inspiring discussions, and shared experiences. As a follow-up, we’re now making all presentations, and materials  available to you.

Follow-up:

OSA 2024 Follow-up, February 12, 15:00-17:00, via Zoom

We invite all Open Science enthusiasts within the MPG to join us for the online follow-up event. The meeting will bring the community back together with the aim of giving our OS Ambassadors the opportunity to present what they have already done or what they are planning to do at their respective institutes.

It is also a chance for everyone to join who could not make it to the Berlin event in November. We welcome all contributions from the community and are curious to know what is happening with Open Science at your MPIs. Do you have any experiences, opportunities or challenges that you would like to share?

Reach out to osip [at] mpdl [dot] mpg [dot] de by January 29 to let us know about your contribution!

We are excited to announce already two speakers:

  • Karla Escobar will present her citizen science project, which was originally planned for the in person meeting.
  • Dustin Eirdosh will present the OpenEvo project, diving into an MPG example of Open Educational Resources after the general introduction to OER at our last event.

You can register to the follow-up here via Zoom.
